چکیده
Background: Chlamydia trachomatis infection is widely prevalent sexually transmitted infection. associated with pelvic inflammatory disease, salpingitis, infertility and various adverse pregnancy outcomes example- preterm labour, Premature rupture of membranes, spontaneous miscarriage. Association recurrent loss not yet well understood. The aim the present study was to determine association (RPL) by comparing its prevalence in women without RPL.Methods: This case control carried out department Obstetrics Gynecology at VMMC Safdarjung Hospital, New Delhi. Total 200 were recruited on basis inclusion exclusion criteria. Out these 100 group history RPL previous successful outcomes. ELISA blood PCR urine sample performed detect compared both groups. All quantitative variables t test qualitative chi square test. P value less than 0.05 considered significant. Results: Prevalence found be 17% 0% a significant difference groups (p value- 0.0001). Similarly 22% 4% statistically value-0.0001). Thus significantly higher comparison those it.Conclusions: showed strong loss. Hence, screening treatment pregnant for C.trachomatis may beneficial reduce outcome.

Chlamydia trachomatis Infection, Immunity, and Pregnancy Outcome
Chlamydia trachomatis can ascend from the cervix to the fallopian tubes and survive for long periods of time without causing symptoms. The immune response to infection clears the extracellular organisms but leads to development of a persistent intracellular infection. Repeated cycles of productive infection and persistence eventually induce tubal occlusion and infertility. Persistently infected...
متن کاملAssociation between Thrombophilic Gene Polymor-phisms and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss in Iranian Women
Background: Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) is a common problem among couples, and acquired thrombophilia is the well-known etiology of RPL. The aim of this study was to establish the association between inherited thrombophilic gene polymorphisms and RPL. Methods: This case-control study was conducted on 50 women with unexplained RPL and 50 parous women with no history of miscarriage (age range...
متن کاملThe Association between Y Chromosome Microdeletion and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss
BACKGROUND To date, the role of male factor contributing in evaluation of spontaneous recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) has been less investigated and there is discrepancy in the role of Y chromosome microdeltions in RPL. Therefore, the current study was designed to examine whether Y chromosome microdeletions were associated with RPL in an Iranian population. METHODS One hundred men from couples...
متن کاملAssociation between Thrombophilic Genes Polymorphisms and Recurrent Pregnancy Loss Susceptibility in the Iranian Population: a Systematic Review and Meta-Analysis
Studies have indicated that thrombophilic genes polymorphisms are associated with recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) in the Iranian population. We aimed to evaluate the precise association between thrombophilic genes polymorphisms (MTHFR C677T, MTHFR A1298C, Prothrombin G20210A, FVL G1691A, and PAI-1 4G/5G) and RPL risk in the Iranian population.
